Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections using CMM and standard inspection tools
Program, set up, and run CMM inspections using CMM Manager Software
Complete First Article Inspections (AS9102) and provide FAI approvals for machined, sheet metal, and assembled parts
Review drawings, certifications, and specifications for accuracy and revision control
Create inspection sheets, Technical Data Packages (TDP), and bubble drawings (2D/3D)
Document non-conformances and support corrective actions and rework verification
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, models, and engineering documentation
Verify CNC-programmed models and create derivative drawings as needed
Qualification
Required
3+ years of aerospace quality inspection experience
3+ years of CMM programming and operation (CMM Manager Software)
Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, ISO9001, and ITAR
Proficient in GD&T, blueprint reading, and metrology
Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools (mics, calipers, height gauges, etc.)
Comfortable with quality and engineering software, including: CMM Manager, Discus, Enovia, Microsoft Office & Adobe Pro
High School Diploma required; additional technical training preferred
Ability to stand, sit, and bend for extended periods in a machine shop/office setting
Preferred
Infor Visual (ERP) experience a plus—we'll train
