Responsibilities
Maintain an organized and up-to-date loan pipeline
Monitor TRID and ECOA compliance throughout the process
Track deadlines and proactively resolve potential bottlenecks
Verify data integrity across systems and documentation
Flag discrepancies and escalate issues promptly
Serve as the primary liaison between clients and loan officers
Provide timely updates on application status and next steps
Answer client questions with clarity and professionalism
Maintain a positive, reassuring tone during high-pressure situations
Collect and review borrower documentation for completeness
Organize files for easy access and audit readiness
Input accurate data into loan origination systems
Assist with DU/LP findings and basic tax return analysis
Prepare closing packages and verify final details
Monitor existing portfolios for expired insurance or payment issues
Coordinate with multiple loan officers when volume spikes
Anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions
Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience either as a Loan Assistant or Loan Processor supporting high-volume or multiple loan officers in the residential mortgages field
Strong TRID, ECOA, DU/LP, and mortgage processing knowledge
