Responsibilities

Supervises daily operations of market medical assistants under the direction of market senior manager, NP

Participates in employee performance review process including performance management for MAs not meeting targets

Participates in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and precepting new MAs staff

Helps conduct chart and call audits per established policy, ensures training programs address identified needs of staff, and operates as market subject matter expert on medical assistant workflows

Manages MA and NP schedules to ensure successful patient visits via telehealth and in the patient home

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

6+ years combined medical assistant education, experience, certification including supervisory experience

Graduate from a medical assistant program such as Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), OR Graduate of a formal medical assistant program, or LPN program

Current BLS or CPR Certification required

Efficient and reliable transportation, including an active driver's license, allowing for the ability to travel across an assigned region to meet patient needs. Locations may include offices, clinics, and patient homes

Preferred

Previous people management or supervisory experience preferred

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification

Highly collaborative, with experience working on multidisciplinary teams

Intermediate technology skillset, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve
