Responsibilities
Conduct hands-on testing activities, including test case automation, execution, and defect tracking for complex distributed applications and microservices
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern frameworks and tools
Collaborate with developers and project teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for applications and microservices
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and quality standards
Document testing processes, results, and best practices for continuous improvement
Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying defects and areas for improvement
Stay current with emerging testing tools and methodologies and recommend adoption where appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing (manual and automation)
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, NUnit, Cypress)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker)
Familiarity with modern UI development frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js, ASP.NET MVC, HTTP, HTML, JS, CSS, Ajax)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
Ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines
