Field Technician

Responsibilities

Stoop, bend, crawl, walk, climb ladders, and lift weights at a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted
Occasionally ascending and descending stairs and ladders
Work a route to complete meter painting and compliance orders in a timely manner and in accordance with training and procedures
Safely working within the regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance
Recognize abnormal operating conditions such as corrosion meters under stress, etc., and report to the supervisor
Assists in performing regular inspections for AOC (Atmospheric Corrosion) on Meters
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Must also have keen senses of smell, hearing, vision, and color identification
Must adhere to safety requirements & have customer service experience
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather & walk 3+ miles per day

Physically Fit: Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks efficiently
Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day; carrying up to 50 lbs of equipment; being able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and performing other duties as assigned; observing and follows all company/client procedures; Possess excellent customer service/communication skills; Be available for overtime (which may include weekends); Be comfortable using computers/technology
