They are seeking an AI Film Producer & Director to lead cinematic storytelling projects, integrating AI tools into the creative process from concept to post-production.
Design
Responsibilities
Integrate various AI tools across ideation, story development, visual creation, and post-production; help define Arnell’s AI filmmaking language and aesthetic
Concept, direct, and produce cinematic films and visual narratives for Arnell Design projects in collaboration with senior leadership and creative directors
Edit video content for social, web, presentations, and film deliverables, cutting interviews, sizzle reels, and narrative pieces with strong storytelling and pacing
Assemble edits from raw footage (interviews, b-roll, archival, graphics) into compelling narratives and clear story arcs
Create multiple cut-downs and versions optimized for different platforms, aspect ratios, and delivery requirements
Collaborate with designers and motion teams to integrate graphics, titles, and light animation; manage round-trips with After Effects as needed
Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup/mixing, captioning, and finishing to deliver broadcast-quality outputs
Support concepting by assembling reference edits, mood reels, and rapid prototypes to test pacing, tone, and narrative approaches
Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and media archives; ensure consistent templates, lower thirds, and style guide adherence
Partner with third-party vendors (sound, VO, color, finishing) when required; prepare briefs, specs, and final deliverables
Qualification
Required
2–6 years of experience in video editing/post-production and/or directing/producing short-form or narrative work (early career is welcome—talent and vision matter)
Fluent in various AI-assisted creative tools and emerging production workflows
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects for compositing and basic motion is strongly preferred
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for simple graphic prep and title work
Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting edit rationale and creative options
Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and best practices; interest in experimentation across new communication formats is a plus
Knowledge of captioning/accessibility standards and export/delivery specifications is a plus
Experience working in fast-paced environments and collaborating across creative, strategy, technology, and production teams
Portfolio required (AI-assisted, experimental, or traditional) demonstrating original thinking, authorship, and craft
