Director of Operations

Responsibilities
Enhance and refine the Company’s current strategy to identify future opportunities to accelerate growth
Oversee P&L, cash flow, and income statements on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Manage capital allocation decisions across key functional areas of key business including investments in new go-to-market channels, conferences and events
Oversee in-depth cost-benefit analysis around company activations, variable compensation tracking and reporting, and knowing when to double down or drop new business activities based on those insights
Establish process and structure throughout the organization to improve overall operating efficiencies and ensure all teams across the organization are in sync with one another. Manage day-to-day operations, vendor onboarding, and compliance documentation. Manage and oversee team budgeting, AP/AR, and subscriptions
Provide strategic input to the executive team on financial operations and lead the design/implementation of the Company’s financial model
Own the recruiting processes (e.g., pipeline, coordination, and closing). Help improve hiring across all levels as well as improve employee performance via evaluation, coaching and improvement of top talent. Source, manage and own relationships with external GTM & engineering recruiters
Help in developing strong operational leaders at the Company. Reinforce the strong entrepreneurial and ownership culture of the company, supporting junior employees on their growth trajectory with the Company
Handle customer security questionnaires and vendor audits with precision. Step in to own 'whatever’s needed' projects across the organization
Serve as a direct partner to the CEO on strategic initiatives and ensure smooth cross-functional coordination as the Company scales. Maintain both internal and external execution and prioritization of projects in a timely manner (i.e., Board of Directors, investors, and enterprise customers). Aid in fundraising efforts with data room preparation, growth forecasting models for different scenarios
Qualification
Required
Verifiable track record of success leading an organization through a significant growth phase in terms of both headcount (i.e., 20 to 100s of people) and revenue (i.e., growing from $2M to tens of millions of dollars of revenues)
Experience as a VP level experience in finance/operations at a B2B SaaS company of scale that has led a wide range of functions across the organization
5+ years of demonstrable success in a high-growth, venture-backed B2B technology company. Specific knowledge of hospitality is a plus
Experience generating shareholder value and leading the company through the growth stage to ultimately a successful exit
Previous experience managing/owning P&L and driving scale in a high-performance, dynamic organization
Ability to establish key reporting metrics across the organization and effectively develop strategies to achieve goals
Successfully navigated and quickly found a strong product-market fit at an organization and then instituted a repeatable sales process
Experience with helping a company raise capital to support growth from early stages to late stages (i.e., venture capital, venture debt, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, capable of interfacing with investors and board members
Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with great follow-through on initiatives big and small
A natural leader who can influence and inspire others
Entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to succeed and win
A strategic thinker who is insightful, creative, curious, and experienced in crafting and executing a high velocity strategy for rapid growth
