Responsibilities
Own follow-up on outstanding invoices through professional collection calls and emails
Generate, review, and maintain accurate advertising invoices
Manage and update the billing system
Use Excel to review data, reconcile balances, track aging, and support reporting
Communicate with customers to resolve billing questions and discrepancies
Partner with sales and accounting teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely payments
Monitor A/R aging reports, identify trends, and escalate issues when appropriate
Assist with month-end A/R close activities
Maintain organized documentation to support audits and financial reporting
Report directly to the Controller
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or a related role
Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, filters, lookups, and reconciliations)
Experience working with billing or accounting systems
Confident communicating with customers regarding invoices and payments
Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over your work
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Experience with advertising, media, publishing, or subscription-based billing
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
