Responsibilities
Enable, influence, and support Altera's authorized distribution partners to create demand, generate opportunities, and close sales
Own sales budget targets for metrics like new opportunities uncovered, new design wins, and revenue growth at the accounts within the specified geographic territory
Drive all sales activities at the accounts classified as 'distributor-led' within the territory
Ensure the local distribution branches within the territory are fully equipped, motivated, and aligned to drive Altera's business
Facilitate branch trainings, regularly attend joint customer visits, lead promotional activities, and maintain partner relationships
Drive opportunity visibility, accelerate technical support coordination, and manage issue resolution through collaboration with marketing, operations, applications engineering, and other supporting roles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field
10+ years experience in technical sales
Preferred
Experience with FPGA/SoC or ASIC design
Experience with any programmable logic or other specialized processing elements (microprocessors, GPU, CPU, etc.)
Experience working with major tech distributor(s) (e.g. Arrow Electronics, Macnica)
Experience working with tech design firm(s)
Experience navigating and maintaining a CRM tool like Salesforce
