Brand + Product Designer
Sharing Excess is one of the fastest-growing food rescue organizations in America, dedicated to saving food and feeding communities. The Brand + Product Designer will elevate the visual identity of Sharing Excess across digital platforms and manage the design of the SE Food Rescue App, collaborating with the tech team to improve user-facing platforms and create marketing content.

Responsibilities
Lead brand design work across Sharing Excess, ensuring consistent, recognizable, and high-quality creative output
Manage the design of the SE Food Rescue App, including UI improvements and feature-level design support
Own and evolve the visual design of sharingexcess.com, collaborating with tech partners to implement improvements
Build and maintain a comprehensive design system that supports both brand and product needs
Create high-quality marketing assets, including social graphics, campaign materials, and fundraising collateral
Develop reusable templates and resources (presentation decks, brand assets, etc.) to empower cross-functional teams
Partner closely with engineers and stakeholders to translate ideas into polished, usable designs
Participate in weekly Tech team meetings and contribute actively to ongoing product development work
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Brand Design
Experience with Product Design (digital product or app experience)
Ability to create compelling marketing content and brand assets
A portfolio demonstrating work across brand design, product/UI design, and marketing content
Deep experience using Figma, including design systems and component-based workflows
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred
UI/UX Design background (beyond visual/UI)
UX Research experience
Graphic design experience across print + digital
Web development familiarity (Webflow is our tool of choice, HTML/CSS is helpful)
