Responsibilities
Lead cost accounting and inventory management for modular manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate labor, material, and overhead allocation
Partner with factory leadership and project teams to evaluate job cost performance and recommend process improvements
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare and review sales and use tax filings; ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations
Maintain accurate financial reporting and internal controls; support quarterly and annual audits
Prepare and analyze margin, cash flow, and cost trend reports to support leadership decision-making
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support special projects
Support project-based accounting and administrative activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing or cost accounting
Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed environment
Preferred
CPA or CMA preferred, but not required
Experience with Viewpoint Vista, Power BI, or Prophix is a plus
Small-batch, non-automated environments preferred
