Director of Database Marketing
Marnell Companies is seeking a Director of Database Marketing who will develop data-driven strategies to enhance revenue, guest loyalty, and engagement through targeted campaigns. The role involves overseeing database integrity, segmentation, analysis, and reporting to drive revenue and profit.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and manage (within designated budgets) direct-mail and e-mail acquisition, retention and lead-generation programs to enhance revenue growth
Acts as department’s property contact for new project generation, and project revisions
Research and gather information necessary for the development of direct marketing materials, including deadlines, and write timely and detailed creative briefs
Helps determine content for direct marketing projects, manages creative development and solicits details and copy points from other parties and departments
Work closely with the Database Analyst and Coordinator to develop project schedules and prioritize all projects on a daily basis and to ensure projects follow strategy and meet approved budgets and scheduled milestones
Assists in the estimating of direct marketing campaign efforts. Recommends production alternatives that will improve cost effectiveness where appropriate
Coordinates and manages internal departments, including working closely with the Database Analyst for lists and data, and external vendors in the creation and fulfillment of campaigns
Develops and manages internal department production schedules and deadlines and ensures that projects are executed accurately and within established deadlines. With Database Analyst, prepares and presents regular departmental production/status meetings
Provides creative briefs, copy point information, art requirements, and deadlines to creative team for all campaigns
Assists in the planning and development of marketing-related web components delivered through the property website
Responsible for the proofing of all marketing related artwork to ensure an accurate and consistent campaign direction
Must provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and customers
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information
Perform related work as requested
Qualification
Required
8-10 years related experience with 3 years supervisory
Minimum of 8 years marketing or related experience with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in database marketing
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent
Gaming Registration
Valid driver's license
Good organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to develop strategies for effective advertising
Ability to perform basic math
SQL skills at the intermediate to high level
Ability to write complex queries, analyze and bring forward sound business recommendations
Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports and responding to correspondence
Ability to present self in a professional, well groomed manner
Ability to work with the public and diverse departments and vendors
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
Full knowledge and understanding of company policies departmental rules
Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
