This role will support ongoing research projects in areas such as US trade policy, global value chains, and international institutions.
Responsibilities
Participate in preparation of scholarly publications, presentations, and research reports based on appropriate application of theories and analysis of the research data
Contribute to the design of the research
Assist in data collection, coding of data, and maintenance of research records and databases
Collaborate with and oversee Bush School students on research projects, clearly explain research needs, and train in necessary data collection, coding of data, and data maintenance
Qualification
Required
Appropriate PhD
No prior experience required
Preferred
PhD in a social science discipline, preferably economics, that links to Policy Analysis, Public Policy, International Economics, and Labor Economics with demonstrated ability to link to policy issues and application of appropriate research methods
Experience with analyzing data, especially dealing with trade, global supply chains, or labor markets
Ability to professionally and clearly communicate academic research to audiences with varying levels of subject-matter knowledge
