InternSalient Motion is building a modular motion and actuation platform for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems. They are seeking an Engineering Intern to work directly with their engineering team on mechanical, electrical, software, and systems level projects, providing real responsibility and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities
Support the design, build, and test of electro mechanical systems and subassemblies
Assist with prototyping, assembly, and hands on lab and shop work
Help execute engineering tests, collect data, and document results
Support manufacturing and supplier related activities including part preparation and validation
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and documentation processes
Work closely with senior engineers and program leaders on active customer programs
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn across disciplines
Comfortable working with hardware and tools in a lab or shop environment
Ability to take direction, execute quickly, and follow through
Clear communicator who can document work and ask thoughtful questions
Preferred
Prior hands on experience through projects, labs, clubs, internships, or personal builds is a plus
