Territory Sales Manager
K2 Systems US is an advanced solar energy manufacturer focused on installation throughout North America. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for assisting the Regional Sales Manager with the development and execution of strategy and sales goals within their defined region to increase market share.
Responsibilities
Attend distribution and end user meetings
Provide BOM designs to channel partners and end users
Provide information vital to contractor quotes to distribution and contractors
Cold call contractors within the region to discuss K2 products
Successfully schedule and conduct trainings with customers in the field
Develop relationships with all K2 distributor branch managers, sales and others within the branches in your territory
Meet face to face with the EPCs and Distributors in your territory per the assigned KPIs
Gather and report details and VOC from all meetings, events and other activities into K2’s CRM
Assist Regional Sales Manager prepare and conduct all sales and marketing activities within the assigned region, including customer meetings, partner meetings, product training, industry events and other related activities
Provide prompt, accurate and polite customer service
Assist the Regional Sales Manager develop key customer target plans
Analyze territory and develop sales strategy to maximize market share using available information. (Ohm, SAP, etc.)
Maintain a professional appearance and positive company image
Submit expense reports monthly
Ability to ask great questions and properly prepare for sales calls
Communicate K2 Systems’ competitive advantages
Effectively sell K2 Systems’ products
Self-directed with excellent time management skills
Resolve problems and identify opportunities for improvement
Keep current by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
Work from home office covering assigned territories
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Intermediate/advanced with solar mounting systems
PV system design & installation
Basic construction experience
Proficiency in English required, Proficiency in Spanish desired
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
Establish and maintain cooperative, professional, and effective working relationships with other team members
Meet schedules and timelines
Professional sales and presentation skills
Technical training presentation skills
Solar sales or solar manufacturing sales experience
Experience with solar installation operations
NABCEP Certification
OSHA-10 (safety training can be provided)
Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking, occasionally on roofs
Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching
Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds
Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing
Requires the use of hands for physical construction work on rooftops
Requires activities involving being at customer sites, construction sites, moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases
