Responsibilities
Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot protection and control relaying systems and associated devices
Perform calibration and testing of protection and control relays and related equipment
Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining protection and control documentation
Support assigned project leads with field activities and testing assignments
Install, program, configure, and maintain P&C relays and devices
Participate in process hazard analyses (PHA) and safety reviews
Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Maintain awareness of current industry standards, technologies, and best practices
Follow safety procedures and quality standards during field and testing activities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
0–3 years of experience in engineering, testing, or a related technical role
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
Understanding of AC and DC electrical systems
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work in field environments such as substations
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
