Senior Systems Analyst – Logistics

Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Senior Systems Analyst for a large, established organization. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders across Materials Management, Warehousing, Transportation, and Field Operations to translate operational needs into effective system solutions.

Responsibilities

Partner with logistics and operations teams to document business processes, identify pain points, and define system requirements
Translate operational needs into functional specifications and system designs
Configure, test, and validate system changes and enhancements
Coordinate with developers, SAP teams, and external vendors to implement solutions
Develop process documentation, workflows, and training materials
Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause resolution
Lead requirements gathering sessions and facilitate discussions between technical and business teams
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects
Act as a subject matter expert for assigned applications and business areas
Ensure solutions comply with IT standards, security protocols, and governance practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a systems analyst, IT business analyst, or in a similar role
Experience supporting enterprise systems in operations-heavy environments such as logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or energy
Strong ability to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and business leaders
Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Proven problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

Preferred

Proficiency with ERP platforms, particularly SAP, is strongly preferred
Knowledge of logistics, materials management, or supply chain processes is a plus
