Information Technology Manager, Software

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
Ensure the implementation of best practices in software development and coding standards
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on professional experience in information technology, preferrable managing development teams
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar
Proficiency with UI technologies and frameworks such as Nodejs, Angular, Adobe Experience Manager
Experience in Customer Engagement and Communication using SalesForce
Experience with AWS Cloud computing platform
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software projects
Candidate must be solutions oriented using rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions, probing all sources for answers
The candidate must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
Self-learner with the ability to learn new technologies and provide tangible results
Highly adaptable, a driver of change, and capable of quickly rallying teams / peer groups

Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is preferred
Experience working in an airline technology environment is preferred
Preferred AWS Solutions Architect Certification
Preferred AEM Certification
