5+ years expConsor Engineers is seeking a NEPA Planner to support transportation and infrastructure projects across Utah. This role involves leading NEPA documentation development and coordinating with various agencies while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities
Lead development of NEPA documentation (CatEx, EA, EIS) for transportation and infrastructure projects
Coordinate technical studies (biological, cultural, water resources, noise, air quality, land use)
Navigate regulatory processes with UDOT, FHWA, BLM, USACE, USFS, and Utah DEQ
Prepare environmental impact analyses, permitting documents, and supporting reports
Participate in public and stakeholder meetings, hearings, and agency coordination
Contribute to proposal writing, scope development, and client support
Mentor junior planners and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of NEPA/environmental planning experience, preferably in transportation or infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of federal and Utah environmental regulations
Proven experience with agency coordination and technical documentation
Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field
