Responsibilities
You’ll work closely with our engineering and design teams to build out new features and capabilities, rigorously think through edge cases, and prioritize diligently to ship what matters
You’ll listen to users and translate their needs into workflows that help them do their best work with AI—while also drawing on your own knowledge and experience to anticipate requirements and proactively shape the product
You’ll partner with the ML team to develop agent capabilities, learn new things quickly (e.g., reading and pushing code), and practice hands-on prompt engineering—defining rules and behaviors for the LLM to deliver reliable outcomes
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience working on a variety of accounting problems in audit or general corporate tax
3-8 years' experience at a top 50 accounting firm (tax or audit) - MUST HAVE
Command of Accounting: quick to understand a wide variety of accounting workflows and help customers problem-solve
CPA license OR master's degree in accounting - MUST HAVE
Experience auditing financial statements end-to-end (cash through operating expenses), including financial statement preparation
Strong communicator- clear at explaining complex accounting concepts and comfortable with both senior and junior stakeholders.- REQUIRED
Ability to be onsite (Flatiron) 5 days a week- REQUIRED
Enjoys being in the weeds on complex, non-client facing work
Preferred
Ideally have experience working with 20+ distinct clients across a variety of industries
