Responsibilities

Design and Develop Automation Frameworks: Create and enhance robust automation frameworks for testing ETL processes, APIs, and business rules, leveraging tools and programming languages like Python, Java, SQL, Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, or custom scripting

ETL Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across various data sources and target systems. Perform data reconciliation and validate data mappings and transformations

API Testing: Design and implement automated tests for RESTful and SOAP APIs, covering functional, integration, performance, and security aspects. Validate API responses, error handling, and adherence to specifications

Business Rules Testing: Develop automated tests to verify the correct implementation and execution of complex business rules and logic within applications or rules engines. Ensure compliance with defined business requirements and expected outcomes

Test Case Development and Execution: Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test plans for all areas of responsibility

Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution and retesting

CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback

Reporting and Analysis: Generate detailed test reports, analyze test results, and provide recommendations for process improvements and quality enhancements

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure quality deliverables
