Responsibilities

Provide production support for enterprise applications, primarily Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) systems
Support Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS) as a backup resource
Run and monitor batch jobs, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve incidents
Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments
Manage Oracle databases, PL/SQL processes, and system integrations
Monitor system health, performance, and capacity; implement tuning and optimization improvements
Develop reports and support end-user training activities
Support job scheduling, disaster recovery processes, and system availability
Document system procedures, troubleshooting steps, and operational processes
Participate in after-hours, overnight, and weekend support as required for critical systems

Required

8+ years of experience supporting business-critical enterprise applications
Strong experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL, including system connections
Experience administering and supporting MWM, MDMS, or similar large-scale enterprise systems
Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux environments (AIX, Red Hat, SUSE)
Shell scripting experience (KornShell / ksh)
Experience with system performance monitoring, health checks, and capacity planning
Ability to support 24x7 production systems, including non-traditional work hours

Preferred

Experience with Oracle Mobile Workforce Management (MWM)
Experience with Landis+Gyr Meter Data Management System (MDMS)
Knowledge of enterprise technology stacks and system integrations
Experience documenting IT processes for technical and non-technical audiences
Application security experience, including keystore management and Java security updates
Experience with WebLogic 12.2 server maintenance
Programming experience with Java, Groovy, JavaScript, and Python
Experience developing and supporting APIs and web services, including error handling
Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills
