Clinical Team Lead (Phoenix Clinic)

Jewish Family & Children's Service of Arizona is seeking a Clinical Team Lead to assist in training new staff and serve as a point person for procedural questions in behavioral health programming. The role involves mentoring new hires, maintaining clinical best practices, and providing therapy services as needed.

Responsibilities

Acts as a peer mentor to new staff who are hired
Provides the Site Orientation for new staff on their first day with JFCS
Observes staff through the process of becoming credentialed to complete assessments
Duties include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting NextGen and helping clinical staff navigate the system, and addressing various clinical questions
The team lead will work closely with his/her direct supervisor to help the team maintain clinical best practices and integrity, while providing services to clients in a timely manner
Documents progress on assigned cases and assisting Clinical Manager, Co-Director or Director with assessing the support needs of clinical staff
The team lead will continue to function in their role as a therapist and will maintain a case load to provide individual, family, or group therapy as clinically indicated
Assists clients assigned in navigating discharge from hospitals, assists in finding intensive services as clinically indicated, and works to decrease behaviors so client can be stable in the community and home
Demonstrates a positive, strengths-based attitude of teamwork and shared leadership
Uses time efficiently, is well organized and responds constructively when presented with challenges and obstacles
Receives positive feedback from new staff and Management regarding the onboarding of new JFCS employees
Reviews and evaluates multiple facets of an issue and is open to innovation and creative problem-solving
Communicates clearly and concisely to co-workers and supervisors using appropriate and grammatically correct verbal and written communications
Demonstrates professionalism and exhibits an ability to tailor communication appropriately for distinct audiences
Will inquire about the client’s health and wellness needs and assist in coordinating those primary care or other supportive services with appropriate JFCS staff or external parties to ensure the clients’ whole health is addressed
This position will communicate with Community Relations and Patient Advocate, Care Manager, Health Promotion or other staff as necessary to ensure coordination and follow-through for clients needing primary care services

Master's Degree in Behavioral HealthAZBBHE LicenseBehavioral Health ExperienceAZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance CardAZ Driver’s LicenseAZ Auto Insurance

Required

Master's Degree in the behavioral health field with AZBBHE License
2 to 4 years' experience as a direct service provider in a Behavioral Health setting
AZ DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
AZ Driver's License
AZ Auto Insurance
