3+ years expUCI Health is the clinical enterprise of the University of California, Irvine, and the only academic health system based in Orange County. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Representative to perform activities related to processing invoices and advanced accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
Performs all activities related to processing invoices (auditing, balancing, & correcting), associated with purchase orders, consultant and sub-contract agreements, freight, utility companies, food service recharges, and temporary services
Performs an advanced level of accounting activities and analysis, reconciliation, interpretation and application of policy and procedures, and problem resolution
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, state and federal tax laws and regulations
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
Experience with month end closing and audit requests
Experience with ERP systems
Experience with 3-way PO match, processing large volume of vendor invoices and credits
Experience using Microsoft Office Applications
Experience reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
3 years Accounts Payable experience
Preferred
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
