They are seeking a Systems Engineering Test Intern to support the design, development, testing, and monitoring of a Satellite Based Augmentation System for navigation, while gaining insights into aircraft systems engineering and avionics regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

System integration and testing support

Support System Test automation and scripting

System performance monitoring, analysis, and anomaly investigation support

System process procedure documentation

Correcting and updating technical documents

System requirement review and design review support

Qualification

Required

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

General working knowledge of AIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems

Experience with and/or course work in Global Positioning System (GPS)

Perl, C/C++/C#, Matlab, Python

Academic projects and examples of innovation of new and emerging technologies

Course work and examples of Technical Writing skills

Fundamental engineering skills

Effective communication skills, both oral and written as well as thorough knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.)
