Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York. You will be responsible for performing advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across applications and infrastructure to ensure compliance and security.

Responsibilities

Plan and scope penetration testing engagements, defining objectives, methodologies, and tooling for application, mobile, network, web services, and thick-client assessments

Perform manual penetration testing and exploitation, curate and validate vulnerability data from multiple tools (e.g., Burp Suite), and prioritize true positives for remediation

Conduct secure architecture reviews and threat modeling, providing actionable recommendations aligned with internal policies and regulatory expectations

Execute secure code assessments to identify vulnerabilities, reduce false positives, and deliver targeted findings to development and product teams

Deliver clear, consultative reporting and presentations, guiding stakeholders on remediation steps, support client and internal queries on vulnerability disclosures and risk escalations

Enhance testing effectiveness through automation and tooling, configure scanning pipelines, perform instrument maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement of vulnerability management services
