Associate Product Owner – BIM/VDC

As an Associate Product Owner for Building Information Modeling, you will support the lifecycle of model development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the product meets market needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Gather product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the modeling team
Data Gathering: Identify, gather, and track data to support and grow a 10+ dimensional model
Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication between development, operations, product management, and other teams to ensure alignment on release goals and timelines
Enhancement Tracking: Drive the capture, tracking, and implementation of model enhancements
Vendor Support: Support modeling partners to ensure they receive required data/information in a timely manner
Release Schedule Management: Support coordinating model release with business demand
Documentation and Administration: Responsible generating and ensuring the latest version of support material for cross functional teams is available with proper version control. Support materials include floor plans, elevations and renderings
Post-Release Monitoring: Track post-release assembly issues, gather feedback from assemblers, and proper documentation and tracking of issues
Release Readiness: Support reviews to ensure releases are ready for deployment, including model detail, documentation, and stakeholder sign-off
Qualification
Required
Relevant Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of full-time work experience
Experience with modeling software such as Sketch Up or Revit
Strong project management skills with experience in release planning and execution
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle unexpected issues during releases
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively
Must be able to legally work in the United States
Must be in a commutable location to Monterey, CA for a 50% or more in-office hybrid role
