Responsibilities

Assists in following standard development and enhancement process to ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory

Document data engineering processes, as needed

Investigate data related issues by executing SQL queries

Required

Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of the first three years of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university – preferably in a relevant field of study (i.e. Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Math, or Statistics)

Theoretical knowledge of Azure Data Factory such as Datasets, Pipelines, Activities, Tasks, Data Flows

Understanding and writing SQL queries/views

Conceptual understanding of Data Warehouse design and modeling

Desire to learn and teach data engineering techniques in a collaborative environment on an Agile scrum team

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Completion of graduate-level coursework a plus

Hands on experience with Azure Data Factory preferred

Preferred experience utilizing R, SQL, Python and/or Snowflake

Financial aptitude is helpful to understand business processes
