Akkodis is seeking an IT GIS Systems Engineer for a Contract with a client. The role involves designing, deploying, and administering enterprise GIS platforms while ensuring performance, security, and reliability across ESRI technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise GIS platforms and ESRI-based systems

Manage and optimize ESRI products such as Portal, ArcGIS Server, SDE, GeoEvent Server, Image Server, Field Maps, and Survey123

Monitor GIS environments, perform upgrades, security enhancements, and performance tuning using tools like ArcMonitor

Administer enterprise geodatabases (SDEs), perform spatial analysis, and ensure data quality and integrity

Develop and maintain ETL workflows between GIS applications using FME Desktop or Server

Create custom GIS solutions and mobile applications while supporting cloud-based GIS operations in Azure

Required

Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

5–8 years of hands-on experience supporting and administering enterprise GIS environments

Deep expertise in ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Server, and enterprise geodatabases (SDE)

Strong proficiency in GIS system engineering, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, ETL workflows (FME), and Azure cloud-based GIS operations
