Responsibilities
Own full electrical hardware design from Concept through NPI into Mass Production
Define system architecture, power tree and communication interfaces
Own component selection, schematic capture, and PCB/flex circuit design (Altium preferred)
Integrate 2.4GHz wireless module connectivity including RF layout considerations
Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to interpret PRD and ensure seamless integration; Integrate comprehensive DFM, DFT, and xFMEA
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using tools such as Altium, including HDI high-density and flex designs
Deep knowledge of low-noise analog and mixed-signal circuit design, PCB layer stack definition, signal acquisition, and best practices for minimizing noise and motion artifacts
Strong understanding of power delivery network (PDN) design, signal/power integrity (SIPI), and low-power architecture optimization, and lithium battery management systems
Experience integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC, RFID, and other wireless technologies; Demonstrated experience with RF layout and validation, antenna tuning and characterization, range testing, and RF link performance testing
Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, I²C, SPI, MIPI, USB
Hands-on experience with prototype development, SMT rework, and bench testing
Expertise in test and measurement using oscilloscopes, spectrum/network analyzers, power analyzers, signal generators, physiological simulators, ESD generators, and environmental chambers
Strong experience with regulatory compliance testing: FCC, CE, EMI/ESD, IEC 60601, and medical device standards
