Responsibilities
Managing a high-volume litigation caseload from pleadings through motion practice
Drafting and arguing motions, discovery, and other law & motion matters
Conducting in-depth legal research and writing
Strategizing with the lead partner on case direction and deadlines
Operating independently in a fully remote environment while meeting aggressive timelines
Working 40+ hours per week, with overtime available and expected during busy periods
Qualification
Required
California licensed attorney in good standing
Strong background in civil litigation (plaintiff or defense)
Proven ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage deadlines without daily supervision
Comfortable handling a fast-paced, high-volume docket
Excellent legal writing, research, and organizational skills
Tech-savvy and able to work efficiently in a remote setting
Preferred
Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred
Asbestos litigation experience is a big plus, but not required
