Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end design and execution of quantitative research studies that address complex business questions
Develop research plans, hypotheses, and analysis frameworks aligned to business objectives
Design, write, and deploy survey questionnaires to generate actionable insights
Analyze large-scale sentiment-based and operational datasets using statistical and analytical methods
Write code (e.g., SQL, Python, R, SAS, STATA, SPSS) to manipulate, analyze, and model data
Triangulate survey findings with operational data such as occupancy, utilization, or performance metrics
Translate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
Partner closely with other researchers, scientists, and cross-functional teams to align on research goals
Present research findings through written reports and verbal readouts
Proactively identify opportunities to improve research rigor, scalability, and business impact
Qualification
Required
PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative or research-focused field
4+ years of professional quantitative field research experience
Demonstrated experience designing and executing research end-to-end, including survey development
Strong experience analyzing experimental and observational datasets
Ability to write code, including strong proficiency in SQL
Hands-on experience with statistical or analytical tools (Python, R, SAS, STATA, SPSS)
Experience applying scientific principles to real-world business problems
Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Prior experience at Amazon or another large, matrixed technology company strongly preferred
