Regional Sales Manager

Sun Atlas Power is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop a team focused on driving new business growth and strengthening client relationships. This strategic role involves balancing team performance with client acquisition and account retention while aligning regional objectives with company goals.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, direction, and support to a team of Business Development Managers
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, strategies, and challenges
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their performance and professional development
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company
Collaborate with senior management to align team objectives with the company's business goals
Coordinate and oversee the training program for new Business Development Managers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Signature Solar's products, services, and sales processes
Foster a continuous learning environment to keep the team updated on industry trends and advancements
Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies
Foster strong collaboration between the solar sales team and internal departments to enhance product knowledge and streamline processes
Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, promoting a cohesive and aligned approach to business development
Oversee the cultivation of relationships with potential clients through targeted outreach efforts, networking events, and prospecting
Support team members in conducting effective solar sales presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
Manage travel schedules efficiently to maximize productivity and ensure effective client engagement
Safely operate a vehicle to attend client meetings, networking events, and business-related activities

Required

Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry
Strong understanding of solar technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate high-performing sales teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
Track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets and driving regional growth
This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, managing both new business development and account management teams
