Squad Lead, Quantitative Development
Fidelity Investments is seeking a Squad Lead in Quantitative Development to enhance their systematic trading and analytics products. Responsibilities
Implementing and improving trading algorithms (VWAP, LSA, IS, Dark, etc.) through systematic A/B tests
Leading coordination across business, trading consultants, data scientists and technology teams to improve product offering and deploy platform solutions
Modernizing trading infrastructure and data pathways to offer scalable solutions to a wide range of customer demands
Managing risk through automated fail-safe recovery mechanism, real-time alerting, systematic back testing, documenting systems, processes, jira follow-ups, and resolving real-time production incidents
Analyzing trading data and deriving solutions to lower transaction cost for our customers
Demonstrate a strong customer focus, influencing revenue and expense key performance indicators (KPIs)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with additional experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or other relevant quantitative discipline
2+ years of experience in systematic trading and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) to improve trading algorithms, or experience managing multiple, complex projects simultaneously
Series 7, 57, and 63 to be obtained within a time frame set by the business unit
Ability to analyze vast amount of data and optimize outcomes of a complex trading system
Attention to detail, discipline in execution, and ability to manage multiple projects
Eagerness to optimize workflow, create scale and efficiency and learn new things
Delight in data and influence through thought leadership using verbal and written communication
Knowledge of US Equity market, trading algorithms and market microstructure
Ability to lead the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle to beat client expectations
Technical knowledge in Python, KDB/Q, Snowflake, Kafka and AWS
Preferred
Master's or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or other relevant quantitative discipline
