Licensing & Payments Customer Service Representative

They are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Licensing & Payments Customer Service Representative to support a high-volume, public-facing licensing and payments operation.

Responsibilities
Assist customers in person with licensing-related questions and requests
Receive, process, and accurately apply payments across multiple tax types (cash, checks, money orders)
Perform daily reconciliation, cash handling, and end-of-day till balancing
Process new license applications, renewals, and updates with accuracy and attention to detail
Provide clear guidance on licensing laws, rules, and procedures
Enter and maintain accurate data within internal systems
Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient customer service in a high-volume environment
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of customer service experience (retail, government, financial services, or similar)
Hands-on data entry experience with strong attention to accuracy
Cashiering or payment processing experience (minimum several months)
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work full-time onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
Experience in a government, licensing, or regulated customer service environment
Familiarity with payment reconciliation or cash-handling procedures
