Responsibilities
Assist with pre-event planning, tasks, and projects
Serve as a greeter, brand ambassador, usher, and/or ticket taker for various special events
Assemble gift packages, mailers, welcome packets, and other event related materials
Complete guest check-in while providing excellent customer service in all interactions with guests
Assist with event tear down and clean-up
Assist with other resort related service interventions as needed including but not limited to the below:
Provide drink service throughout casino and resort
Complete account signups for Resorts World’s program
Assist Convention/Group Sales with guest registration
Order and deliver amenities to guest’s rooms or elsewhere
Serve as a property ambassador during need period
Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
Perform other job-related duties as requested
Qualification
Required
Ability to contribute, grow and learn in the special events and promotions field
Excellent writing and communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to effectively communicate in English
Polished appearance and demeanor
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
At least 21 years of age
High School Diploma of equivalent
Minimum of six months of experience in special events within a similar or related field
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to obtain the following: Nevada Gaming Registration

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting
