Marketing Intern – Nonprofit Job Board (Unpaid, For College Credit)

NPO Lifeline is seeking a motivated college student to support the marketing, promotion, and operations of a new, nonprofit-focused Job Board. This remote internship offers hands-on experience in marketing, outreach, and audience growth for an initiative that supports nonprofit organizations nationwide.

Responsibilities

Draft and schedule short promotional content for the Job Board (primarily LinkedIn)
Support regular promotion of the Job Board and featured opportunities
Assist with website updates related to the Job Board
Research nonprofit organizations and networks that may benefit from the Job Board
Support outreach to nonprofits about posting opportunities (using templates) and/or connecting with nonprofit organizations
Help brainstorm and test ideas to increase visibility and engagement
Track basic engagement metrics (post reach, inquiries, listings added)
Track the timing of job board posts and nonprofit communications
Participate in virtual internal team meetings as scheduled
Collaborate closely with the team on marketing and growth efforts

Required

Currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic credit
Interest in marketing, communications, nonprofits, or business growth
Comfortable drafting short written content and conducting light research
Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital tools (or willingness to learn)
Applicants must have some type of marketing, outreach, or social media content creation experience. You may be asked to share samples of your work
