Perform histology procedures including core biopsies, curettings, decalcification, and excision specimens
Prepare frozen sections and mount sections on glass slides
Utilize various microscopy techniques such as brightfield, dark field, and transmission electron microscopy
Operate automatic tissue processors and microtomes for cutting tissue sections
Perform special stains and IHC staining as required
Qualification
Required
Experience: 1 Year
Skills: Core biopsies, Curettings, Decalcification, Excision specimens, Formalin, Frozen Section/tissues, Immunohistochemistry, Brightfield microscopy, Dark Field, Nomarski, Phase Contrast, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy, Automatic tissue processor, Calcified/decalcified tissue, Clearing/types of agents, Dehydration/ types of agents, GI Processing Schedule, Microwave Processing, Automated/Manual Microtome, Cuts tissue sections using microtome and cryostat, Cutting blocks, Embedding GI specimens, Embedding large specimens, Embedding Molds, Embedding smalls and bigs, Histology Cassettes, Microtomy of Fatty Tissue, Microtomy of Frozen sections, Microtomy of hard tissue, Paraffin Wax sections, Special Stains, Embedding skin techniques, Basic dye stains, Cytoplasmic stains, IHC staining, Nuclear stains, Prepares frozen section and mounts sections on glass slides
