Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux)

Provide Tier 1-2 technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues

Perform routine monitoring of systems, networks, and firewalls to maintain uptime and performance

Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VPN)

Apply patches, updates, and system backups according to schedule

Use, develop and help maintain scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks

Maintain clear and accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Support and learn cloud environments and services (Azure/AWS)

Follow cybersecurity best practices and escalate security incidents to senior staff

Configure and manage virtual machines
