Subject is an accredited online learning platform that is redefining the middle school and high school experience. They are seeking an organized and creative Video Producer to manage studio shoots and collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality educational videos.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Curriculum and Creative teams to turn scripts into compelling video

Help with shooting schedules

Coordinate talent/crew logistics

Develop visual treatments appropriate for specific subject matters

Oversee studio operations, including the setup and calibration of cinema cameras, lighting, and audio equipment

Ensure complex academic concepts are explained clearly and are entertaining

Manage data wrangling and footage handoffs

Review rough cuts and provide creative feedback to ensure instructional goals are met

Create standardized production documentation to streamline the editing workflow

Maintain and organize all studio gear, including cameras, lenses, lights, and grip gear

Troubleshoot technical issues on set in real-time to minimize downtime

Qualification

Video production experienceProficiency with cinema camerasAdobe Creative CloudGenerative AI platformsCommunicationOrganizational skills

Required

3-5 years of experience in video production, specifically in a Producer, Director, or DP role

Proficiency with professional cinema cameras (e.g., Blackmagic, Sony FX line, Canon Cinema EOS) and DMX lighting control

Strong working knowledge of multiple generative AI platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud and production management tools

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple course productions simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines

Ability to lift and move production equipment weighing up to 40-50 pounds (cameras, c-stands, sandbags)

Ability to stand for extended periods during shoot days

Visual acuity to assess focus, color, and lighting on monitors

Preferred

Experience in EdTech or documentary filmmaking
