Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple heavy civil / utility projects simultaneously
Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, and utility representatives
Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and regulatory agencies
Maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and inspectors
Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability across project teams
Support preconstruction, estimating, and work acquisition as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years of construction management experience in heavy civil and/or utility construction
Proven background in water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, electric, roadway, or related infrastructure work
Experience managing public-sector projects and working with municipalities and utility authorities
Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract administration
Ability to lead teams and make decisive, field-driven decisions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience working in New Jersey, New York, and/or Pennsylvania markets
Familiarity with union environments and emergency / on-call utility work
