Loan Operations Manager
LHH is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of their loan processing department. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout the loan lifecycle while managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the loan operations team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all loan transactions
Oversee loan documentation, funding, servicing, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to senior leadership
Collaborate with internal departments (credit, underwriting, compliance) to resolve issues and streamline workflows
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company lending regulations
Train, mentor, and develop team members to maintain high standards of performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in loan operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of lending regulations, compliance, and risk management
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in loan servicing systems and MS Office Suite
Ability to work onsite daily in Aberdeen, MD
