The role involves serving as Engineer-of-Record, performing design analyses, collaborating with project managers, and providing post-design services for various Traffic Engineering sub-disciplines.

Responsibilities

Serve as Engineer-of-Record, Project Engineer, and/or Task Lead, depending on project specifics, for various Traffic Engineering sub-disciplines (ITS, Lighting, Signals, and/or Signing & Pavement Marking)

Perform QC reviews of design analyses and plans prepared by Staff and by other consultants

Serving as Owner’s representative on General Engineering Consultant contracts, perform a variety of ITS / Traffic design tasks and engineering analyses

Collaborate with other Transportation Discipline Leads and Project Managers

Provide post-design services including performing shop drawing reviews, responding to RFI’s, and developing plans revisions during project construction

Perform plans production and construction specifications development

Build strong working relationships with transportation clients across Florida
