Responsibilities
Development of deep neural networks
Analyzing the efficiency and performance of models
Porting and testing neural networks on microprocessors and other constrained devices
Developing memory and computationally efficient real-time audio algorithms based on neural networks
Researching state-of-the-art neural networks in the audio domain
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student. Preferably enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in a STEM related field involving programming, i.e. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics. Bachelor's students with relevant professional experience or experience in projects applying neural networks to solve complex problems, and/or advance embedded programming skills
Familiarity with multi-channel speech enhancement and beamforming techniques
Experience with at least one deep learning framework (preferably TensorFlow)
Understanding of common neural network layer types and their mathematical operations
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++ (experience with embedded programming is a plus)
Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu)
Preferred
Familiarity with audio, speech, and music signals
Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code using version control (Git)
