Senior Paralegal (GR 25)

The Senior Paralegal will support the corporate governance and commercial litigation team by managing legal matters, preparing SEC filings, and maintaining corporate records.

Responsibilities
Draft Board and shareholder resolutions and minutes of meetings; assist with Board and Committee meetings, including preparing agendas and meeting materials (both physical and electronic)
Prepare and file SEC Forms 3, 4 and 5 for directors and executive officers
Assist with preparation of annual proxy statement materials and mailing; assist with preparations for Annual Meeting of Stockholders
Organize and maintain corporate and Board and Committee records
Receive and assign file numbers for new claims and litigation, prepare initial letters to external counsel, and complete information in matter management system
Docket and track litigation deadlines and maintain case records
Assist with litigation discovery requests and responses and respond to third party subpoenas
Tender claims and complaints to customers/suppliers for defense
Process legal invoices and settlement check requests on litigation matters
Compile and submit reports to regulatory agencies
Engage with PACCAR executives, managers and employees, as well as outside partners, customers, and vendors
Provide general administrative support to the Law Department and Executive Chairman, as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of legal work experience, with prior experience in corporate law/corporate governance at a law firm or in-house legal department strongly preferred
Strong work ethic and a passion for understanding PACCAR's business and contributing to its strategy and accomplishments
A completed four-year college degree, paralegal certificate and/or relevant work experience
Strong legal drafting skills and very high attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently while also being a strong collaborator
Desire to work with diverse internal groups, teams, divisions, and cultures
Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
