Responsibilities

Directly supervises Scheduling, Registration, Insurance Verification, Accounts Receivable and Medical Records personnel
Supervises and coordinates the reimbursements of patient accounts through claims processing and POS collections
Leads and facilitates credit and collection policies. Identify and implement areas of improvement for collection of delinquent accounts
Reviews billing and collection patterns in collaboration with CBO
Gathers and analyzes information. Develops new procedures to improve the quality and quantity of work processed
Interprets and enforces third party payer rules and regulations, including Medicare requirements

Qualification

Management experienceHealthcare organization experienceInsurance industry knowledgeGovernmental regulations knowledgeComputer applications proficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or related business experience
Three years of management experience including three years in a health care organization
Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of fiscal management experience
Thorough understanding of the insurance industry
Knowledge of governmental regulations
Maintains a high level of proficiency in computer applications
