Responsibilities

Prepare the consolidated financial statements inclusive of footnotes and other financial information in compliance with US GAAP
Design global operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency
Ensure accurate consolidation, analysis and financial reporting
Supervise the processing of all year-end reporting requirements
Lead global audits and special projects
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the department
Experience preparing or supporting SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and related disclosures for a public company
Lead compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and internal control frameworks
Monitor emerging accounting standards and regulatory changes impacting financial reporting

Required

12+ yrs of progressive corporate accounting experience including 5 yrs of experience in the following areas of responsibility: consolidations and US GAAP reporting
5+ yrs of experience in a leadership role including 2 years in a formal management role
Bachelor's degree or educational equivalent in accounting or related field
Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications
Strong written, organizational, presentation, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen and financial skills for decision support
Strong technical accounting skills and in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Expertise in company financial reporting systems
Proven leadership skills
Ability to build consensus across cross-functional and cross geographic teams
Ability to train staff, as appropriate
Ability to guide various accounting functions and ensure results are accurate, timely, reliable and thorough

Preferred

Experience with a public multinational company is strongly preferred
CPA certification preferred or other recognized accountancy qualification
