Confidential company is a flooring manufacturer, and they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening distributor and dealer relationships. The role involves hands-on leadership and direct engagement with the sales team and customers.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow regional sales for flooring and related floor moldings through distributors, dealers, and key accounts
Spend significant time in the field calling on customers, attending sales meetings, and supporting territory sales representatives
Conduct ride-alongs, coaching, and performance reviews to develop and strengthen the sales team
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, builders, and flooring contractors
Lead product training sessions, sales presentations, and in-store merchandising initiatives
Identify market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities within the region
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction
Assist with pricing strategies, promotions, and regional forecasting
Ensure brand standards, product positioning, and sales messaging are consistently executed
Represent the company at regional trade shows, dealer events, and industry functions

Required

5+ years of sales experience in the flooring industry or building materials manufacturing
Proven success managing and growing a multi-state or multi-territory sales region
Strong knowledge of flooring products, channels, and go-to-market strategies
Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to work directly with customers and sales reps
Excellent communication, training, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable traveling extensively within the region
CRM experience and strong reporting/forecasting abilities

Able to balance strategic planning with daily execution in the field
