Responsibilities
Managing core financial functions: budgeting, forecasting, cash management, job cost accounting, AP/AR, taxes, and bank reconciliations
Verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
Preparing and publishing error-free financial statements on schedule
Analyzing financial data and clearly communicating financial status, including cash positions
Coordinating external audit and tax activities
Reviewing and recommending enhancements to accounting systems and procedures
Supporting budget development and financial forecasting
Translating complex financial concepts to staff at all levels
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
Completing reconciliations, generating reports, and contributing to special projects
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of accounting experience
Experience working across multiple business entities or industries
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
Excellent communication and organizational skills
The ability to work on-site in Marietta, OH
