Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding member service with energy, accuracy, and professionalism
Handle inquiries via phone and secured messages regarding accounts, loans, and services
Educate members on credit union products, cross-sell services, and provide financial solutions
Research and resolve account-related issues and member concerns
Process loan applications, deposits, returned mail, and payments
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies, procedures, and industry regulations
Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and security protocols
Complete daily balancing reports and assist with administrative tasks
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in credit unions, banking, customer service, sales, or a call center environment
This job demands a cooperative, agreeable and sympathetic listener who gets along with others and enjoys being helpful
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude
Customer service skills, willing to do what is expected, and detailed orientated
Ability to handle member inquiries with accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to educate members on financial solutions
Ability to multitask, meet sales goals, and work effectively in a team environment, team-oriented
Knowledge of credit union products, policies, and regulations are a plus
Preferred
Previous credit union, financial institution, member service, call/ contact center, sales or other related experience
